Curtis A. Smith, CFP® joined USAA Wealth Management on February 28, 2011. Mr. Smith's office will be located in USAA Wealth Management's Houston office, located in the Galleria area.
Curtis founded Interactive Capital Management (ICMC), in 1991 in order to focus on fiduciary standards and value producing services. Mr. Smith has over 31 years of financial planning and investment management experience.
In 1974, Curtis completed two undergraduate business degrees at Texas Tech University. Curtis received the CFP® designation in June 1984 from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
Curtis discovered the perfect career match in 1980 with his entry to the financial services industry. In 1982, he established Curtis A. Smith & Associates, launching Curtis into the financial planning industry. In 1991, Curtis transitioned into a fee-only advisor and renamed his firm Interactive Capital Management.
